Caliente Christmas Salsa Recipe

Ingredients:

6 tomatillos, diced

5 ripe tomatoes, diced

1/2 cup minced onion

2 jalapeno peppers, chopped

1 fresh cactus leaf, trimmed and cut into 1/4-inch dice

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

6 tablespoons fresh lime juice

salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Combine the tomatillos, tomatoes, onion, jalapeno peppers, cactus, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl; stir gently to combine.
